(Journey of the Tigerclan cats)
Flametail stretched and walked out of the warriors den. He was surprised that Thornstar hadn't put in someone who knew the way to the kingdoms. And he was sad to leave his twin sister, but she would be safe. Along with this, him and Moondust could use their powers out of Tigerclan's boarders. He felt the heat rush through his body with excitement. Noonpaw had said her place was with Smallpaw, but she would
star travel every once and awhile to check on him. She had passed away a long time ago... Angelpaw was more willing to leave Neetlepaw and Dovepaw in the clan than his younger sister was. Callapaw had been worried all night about them her brothers. They were excited for the journey though. It's not everyday they get to go off territory.
First stop was to ask Knight Pack if Sunpaw had been seen. Poor Moonpaw and JayJewel were extremely worried. Angelpaw turned to Moondust as they all began to walk out of camp, "I can't believe it. We're all getting to goon this journey."
Moondust nodded, "It's long enough if you ask me." teh tan she-cat, Callapaw, ran up to Angelpaw who was already beside Shreaderpaw. The three started mumbling ecclesiastically about the adventure.
"Hey when we get back we'll probably be made straight into warriors!" Shreaderpaw said excitedly.
The two siblings looked at eachother, they were much older than the other apprentices, but it still excited them. "That would be really cool don't you think Callapaw?" She nodded to her brother's question. Flametail walked in the front with Moondust, while Nightwind and Drakenflight walked in the back. He had a small purr at the apprentices' murmers.
Two days later they came to a very large red wood tree. It was large enough to hold many cats, and it did. This was the home of Knight Pack. They had decided to send the group all in and let Flametail talk. Since the leader was his father, it would make it easier to ask. They slowly went into the tree and found that it was fairly well carved out. Cats of many colors were running throughout it. The tree actually had an underground level below them. One part seemed to have kits and their mothers. "Flame is that you?" A calico she-cat walked forward her yellow green eyes full of happiness.
"Mother?" Flame walked forward to Blade who hugged him with her tail. "It's great to see you, but we must talk to dad. I'll explain up there.
Blade nodded, 'Right away. Come on clanny kitties follow me." The group ran after her and they had to jump a few times to get to a ledge near the top of the tree. Blade seemed to not mind the run at all, but obviously the clan born ones did. "Knight we have Tigerclan here to see you."
"Bring them in, quickly, quickly." The pitch black tom rushed while the Tigerclan cats were pushed in, "I wish we had more visits from you clan cats. We haven't heard from you guys for a very very long time."
Flametail lowered his head, "Sorry to hear that sir."
"Flame, I believe we had business, but the over politeness is not nessary. I'm just another old cat," Knight gave a mrrow of laughter, "What brings you here though?"
"Had cat has been... catnapped to say the least by this kingdom cat," Blade and Knight gasped, "You've heard of the kingdoms?"
Blade looked from her mate and then back to her son, "Of course we have, we're the direct descendents of them. Explain everything dear."
The calico tigerclan tom sighed and began to tell the tale. "A she-cat named Jayjewel came to our clan in refuge ten moon ago. Along with two newborn sons. These three cats that came were the same ones who had chased her the first time. We just found this out recently. Jayjewel had been followed by these thee from what she calls the Kingdom of the North. We had seen no trace of the three, and Jayjewel had been safe within our lands. Until the kingdom cats returned. Birdleaf killed the one called Tooth," his parents looked at oen another with worry, "I guess he was the brother of the West's King's mate... The one now residing with us was actually helping Jayjewel in disguise. The third intruder, Razorheart, took one of her sons named Sunpaw. Our clan has reasons to believe that they might have come this way. Have you seen two cats like that."
"If I would have known... yes we chased them off our territory about a moon ago. They kept going east, towards what I know to be a very old pack. Directly linked to the kingdoms, but if they changed direction in any way. I can say no more," Knight sighed, "May the ansestors bless you on your journey."
The calico she-cat, Blade interrupted, with caution, "I hate saying this, but check with Shadow Pack... they're a week's journey from here. East ward stilll." With a filling meal and a night rest the clan cats set off the next morning to find out more about Sunpaw's whereabouts.
Callapaw sighed as she was close to asleep in a tree after the first night towards Shadow Pack, "I sure hope Sunpaw's okay. That West cat seemed so rude... and unbelievably disgusting. Especially those weird silver claws on them. If a cat can create those things... who knows what he could do to Sunpaw."
"You're telling me... now go to sleep," Drackenflight said from the other branch. Her face got hot and she put her head down. By the end of the week they had come back into a lush forest. The prey was very plentiful and the quest cats found that it was no wonder that Shadow Pack lived here. A pretty white she-cat, two silver toms, and a white cat with a red tail surrounded the group before they had gotten far.
"Clan cats?" Winter, the pretty white cat spat, "Shadow will see you. Your reason for coming here better be good." Without another word the cats were kept hostage within Shadow Pack. Shadow had went on leave so they had to wait a whole week sitting around. They really should have left while they had the chance.
When Shadow did return it wasn't pretty. He had a large scar on his left eye now, and when he saw the clan cast he growled angry pleasure. He ran up to Flametail and spit on him, "You dare to come here after what you clan cats did to me!?"
Nightwind snarled, "What we did to you?! Have you gone mad, because we haven't done fox-dung thing!"
Shadow slashed his claws across Nightwind's face leaving a scratch of his claw marks on her face, "You killed my sister! Meadow was all I had left. Now there's only Sleek and she was heartbroken when you killed her sister-in-law.
"Excuse me, but what were we to do? Just let Meadow kill our clan with those Darkclan cats? Or have you forgotten we had to kill our own deputy's daughter too? You weren't the only one to loose someone you cared about!" the calico tom retorted back angrily, his tail lashing from side to side. "We came only for a question, not an attack for starclan's sake. We're out searching for cat that was taken from us."
"Oh your little Sunpaw. He went east with that kingdom cat. We let them go without questions, we were glad to let a clan cat go by..." Shadow started to walk away into his den when he looked behind, "I hope he dies."
"You monster!" Callapaw yelled out at them.
Shadow lashed his tail and whispered to a cat next to him. Dagger nodded and with sorrowful eyes he grabbed Callapaw by the scruff. Though he had to half drag her across the camp while she struggled. He whispered into the she-cat's ears, "You should have kept silent. Please let the ansestors help you." She froze with fear and let a tear fall. The silver tom then brought Callapaw harshly to Shadow's den. Obviously to make it look like he had been rougher with her than he was.
"No!!! Bring her back. Bring my sister back!"
A cold, hard, paw hit Angelpaw hard in the face knocking him sideways, "Shut up clan scum!" The brown tabby spit on Angelpaw and then growled. "Unless of course you want to be shreads of meat. We could always use extra fresh kill."
Shreaderpaw walked slowly to Angelpaw and helped him up. The tan apprentice looked out at the pack's camp. Shadow walked behind her, "You will be a fun pleasure..."
Callapaw growled and swatted at him, "Stay away from me!"
"But that would ruin the punishment... A beautiful face like yours should never go to waste. Aren't you too old to be an apprentice?" His eyes gleamed with insanity.
"S-stay away..." the she-cat backed herself against the wall of his den. She looked behind her and then back at the approaching tom. He easily flipped her on her stomach and pinned her down. "Please..." he smirked and she tried to push him off. He only pushed her down harder and she grunted with a moaning pain.
Shadow leaned down to her ear, "Don't resist..."
Callapaw's screams of terror and agony filled the silent air and Angelpaw slunk back into the stone wall. His eyes were full of anger and fear, and water never stopped running from them. Drackenflight, Flametail, and Nightwind stood close by and put the apprentices behind them. It looked as if it would be a long time before they would get to go home. If they ever got to go.
Another week passed and Callapaw had not been allowed to come out of Shadow's den except to go to there dirtplace. And when she did to see her was a worse and worse sight. She had cut's up and down her body and by the end of the week one of her paws was completely limp. But one night Shreaderpaw noticed Dagger walking into Shadow's den. Callapaw soon came out behind him, her eyes were drooped and she couldn't stand on her own. Dagger made sure he kept everyone silent as he slipped them through the camp's entrance. "I have to come with you. I'll go live with my sister... I'm so sorry that the next time I got to meet my nephew it was with sorrow. Go home clan cats. And try to stay safe." The group of cats nodded and Drackenflight put Callapaw on his back. As two more weeks passed they found themselves on Tigerclan's boarder. They looked like they had went through a war. Especially Callapaw, who had infections from all the scratches, but Nightwind's face was not much better. She would probably lose eye sight completely in one eye. The near to death, starving, parched, and tired cats got just onto Tigerclan's land in the mist of moon high. The journey had been in vain, because Sunpaw and his captor were very far away.
