(Kingdom of the West)
Blossomtooth met Sunpaw in the hallway outside their living areas and walked up to Blacktooth's courtier. To tell her that they would be going exploring outside. The two friends padded out of the entrance and around the mountain side. Until they came to a covered up cave way. Just hoping that Moonheart and Cloudmask would show up.
Moonheart walked in and said hello to the newcomers, "Sunpaw was it?"
The tom jumped at the she-cat's voice, "ye- I mean no... it's Sunjewel, but close. You can just call me Sun though."
"Nice to see you again, where's your brother?"
"Oh sorry, Sun," Moonheart made a face at the mention of her brother, "He's a kittypet... He's not aloud out till his humans let him out."
The tom chuckled, "It's no problem. And seriously a kittypet!? Poor fellow."
Blacktooth tilted her head, "What's a kittypet?"
Sunpaw just raised his eyebrows at his friend, "Are you serious?"
Moonheart tilted her head, "You don't know? It means he lives with twolegs."
"Oh! You mean a house-cat." Blossomtooth said with a realization.
"Yea I guess." She said while tilting her head. "But I don't want to rely on them for the rest of my life, and I was wondering." with a look at her paws then back at them, "Would you teach me how to hunt?"
Sunpaw and Blossomtooth looked at eachother and then happily at Moonheart. "We'd enjoy to. Blossom, you remember what i taught you?"
"Kinda, this would be the best time to prerfect it though. I think you should teach her first."
"Okay," the black pelted tom tapped Moonheart on the shoulder with a smile, "Come on!"
"Really?Thank you!" Moonheart smiled and followed him.
Sunpaw walked to the opening and looked around, then he moved forward and started to go down the mountain. He found a part that was just forest area, "This looks like the place."
Moonheart was excited she looked at him, "What am I going to learn first?"
"The hunting stance then what to remember about different prey animals."
"Ok!" The black pelted she-cat jumped slightly with joy, "What's the first one?"
Sunpaw lifted his backside and lowered his front. he put his tail lowered to the ground and perked his ears. Without looking at Moonheart he said toward to her, "Like this."
Blossomtooth did the same next to her friend, and waited for Moonheart. Who followed pretty much all the right steps... but forgot to keep her tail down. Moonheart's fur fluffed up and she looked like a large black-fluff. The other she-cat giggled, "Not quite Moon. Lower your tail or any prey is going to think you're a ball of fluff."
"Oops," she lowered her tail, "How about this?"
"Precisely," said the young tom
Moonheart smiled and gave a purr, "Hooray! What's next?" There was a rustling in the bushes and a sharp cling noise. The one she-cat once again fluffed up her fur. Cloudmask came out wearing a pink twoleg collar with a bell attached. His sister couldn't stop laughing. Next think it was known she was on ground having tears from her eyes from laughing so gard, "I can't believe it! You let them collar you! Aren't you the one who said 'I ain't Nobodies pet!'"
"Hey shut up!" Cloudmask glared at his sister he looked down at his collar. "I hate it! It makes such an awful noise!"
Moonheart looked at her brother and then his collar, "Oh look it even has you're pretty kittypet nameon the side of it."
Her brother gave a hiss, "My name is Cloudmask! I don't care what they call me! I'm not a kittypet!"
"Could've fooled me," she retorted while she ignored the hiss from her brother and looked back at Sunpaw, "So what's the next one?"
Blossomtooth was snickering behind Sunpaw, and even the black pelted tomhad a humorous smile on his face. "First before we continue." He looked to his friend who rolled her eyes, "We should get that collar off of you."
"If you don't want it of course," The sister said with a giggle.
"I Don't!" Cloudmask glared at his collar he despised it more than anything... but his twolegs where nice to him and loved him he thought about how his two legs would act. He shook his head "I'm no kittypet what do I care? I want it off."
Moonheart smiled, "You sure Badger?"
Her brother growled, "That's not my name!"
"We could just take off the bell, Cloud," Blossomtooth inquired.
Cloudmask thought about it that is really the only problem he had with the collar, "Okay, you can take off the bell? Please do if you can."
Moonheart grabbed it with her teeth and pulled the bell split off the collar, "There now we can't hear you from a mile away!"
Cloudmask looked at his sitser sadly, "Thank you."
Moonheart looked at Sun with a roll of her eyes, "What's the next move?"
"Go back into your hunting crouch; Cloud just follow what your sister does." He gave them some time and then continued, "Okay now a vole will feel your footsteps before it hears you. And a mouse and squirrel can hear you. Either way you must step quietly."
Blossomtooth came in, "Here Sun and I will hide in the forest a bit. We want you guys to sneak up on us. And just launch into our sides, but keep your claws in. Smell out our scent and keep your ears open for our movement." With that Sunpaw and Blossomtooth walked away and hid in the small forest.
The sister went over in her head the crouch. They waited, and then went into the forest. The she-cat sniffed the ground and tiptoed quietly. While her brother was heavy on his paws. She turned to him, "Shh!They'll hear you"
Cloudmask gave a sympathetic look. Then tried to tiptoe but was still creating a lot of noise. She sighed, "Why don't you go that way and I'll go this way." Moonheart pointed with the tip of her tail.
Fine!, " He stormed off creating lots of noise and scaring a bird in the process. Blossomheart and Sunpaw waited. Sunpaw heard Cloudmask from far away and very quietly he used the trees to jump from one to another. He got onto a branch and stayed in the shadow of the branch as he watched Cloudmask.
Cloudmask kicked dirt beneath him he heard the bushes moving and went into the bushes as squirrel ran out he was on his heels and trying to get him the squirrel jumped onto the tree Sunpaw was on climbed up Cloudmask looked up, "Sunjewel? What are you doing here?"
"Watching you, more like I've been hearing you for awhile now. We'll have that fixed in no time though." Sunpaw's friend waited far off, she hadn't heard Moonheart, yet.
Cloudmask looked at his paws, "Stupid heavy paws...." He looked up sadly, "My mother should of named me Heavystep."
Sunpaw jumped down gracefully from the tree, not much noise was made either, "It's okay you just aren't used to all this yet. We'll have you going in no time at all."
"Thank you Sunjewel so how do you walk so that it dosen't create a lot of noise?"
"First off pick up your feet," He walked forward and picked up his feet when he walked his paws seemed to give a slow motion prance. "Try that."
Cloudmask tried it and purred with pride when he realized he was quieter.
Meanwhile Moonheart saw a hole she sniffed it she didn't recognize the scent she waited for it to come out 'This smells werid I would if it will be easy to catch....'She thought to herself. The she-cat looked inside the hole to see two eyes staring back at her. Suddenly a fox jumped out. She opened her eyes wide and ran up a tree the fox was circling below looking at her.
Blossomtooth smelled the fox, but she couldn't find Moonheart's, or the others', scents with it. "Oh dear Kingdom of the Heavens... please keep them safe." Unfortunetely not too long after she smelled the fox and then Moonheart, "Oh Heavens no!" shes sprinted down smelling the scent and pounded right in the fox with her claws unshealthed. "Nasty fowl creature!" This was the first time she tried to fight though without her fighting tools. No metal claws or daggers... just claws, teeth, and hopefully enough strength.
The cat from in the tree jumped down... clawing and biting in an unorganized fashion, but either way it was helpful.
Blossomtooth gave a gasp, "Moonheart be careful." The fox whirled around and went for Moonheart. Blossomtooth lunged at the Fox's throat and as it whirled away a small cut was made in the front.
Cloudmask lifted his paw but put it down to fast causing his fur to ruffle he lifted his ears, "Do you hear that? It sounds like cats are fighting."
"Blossom! F-fox..." He ran off in the direction of the sounds and smells. When he got there he pounded into the fox he bared his teeth and spit out a growl. Cloudmask ran after Sunpaw, and attacked the fox he scratched at it's eyes. Soon the fox seemed to have noticed all the cats approaching, and in submission ran away.
"That's right run!" The young she-cat growled.
Sunpaw looked around, "Everyone okay?"
"We're all fine," Blossomtooth replied calmly.
Moonheart licked some scratches, "Just a few scratches."
Her brother's fur began to lie flat again, but he looked at Moonheart with a glare, "Are you crazy
you could have been killed!" Moonheart shrugged with a look towards her brother without saying a word.
Blossomtooth sighed, "She did pretty well, for not fighting before at all. It was not a very smart risk though."
"Whats been done is done."
Cloudmask sniffed her scratches, totally ignoring Sunpaw's comment, "Are you sure you're okay? My twoleg knows another twoleg who can help you with the scratches. He's okay, for a twoleg."
Moonheart shook her head, "I'll be okay!" Her brother just shrugged.
Sunpaw sighed, "Find some Cob webs. That will stop the bleeding.... do you know where any is Cloud?"
He nodded ran off into the bushes The tom ran back with some in his mouth. Cautiously he placed it down by Sunpaw's paws, "Are you sure this would work?"
Moonheart jumped, "Cobwebs!" She flatted her ears, "This better work..."
"Trust me it'll work," Sunpaw quickly got the cobwebs on the scratches, and they seemed to soak up the blood well.
Cloudmask watched, "Wow, you do know you're stuff."
"Thanks," Sunpaw purred.
Moonheart looked a her scratch after it was done soaking up the blood, " I cant believe it worked!"
"Where did you learn that, Sunjewel?" Blossomtooth inquired
Sunpaw pawed at the ground, "Back home..."
"You're from a clan right...?" Moonheart's eyes got big. "Are they like the kingdoms?"
Sunpaw just nodded. The pitch white she-cat walked over to her friend, "Go ahead, tell them."
The black pelted tom with one white ear nodded again and turned to the siblings, "The clans... are much different from the kingdoms. We fight to protect each other, like a family. The ways of the clans are nothing like things here. I was kidnapped and brought here... for the sake of my family." A rustle came from far back of the woods. Sunpaw jumped; he knew that scent. "Razorheart..." Blossomtooth gasped in response and put the two younger friends behind her and Sunpaw.
"Cloud, Moon... you gotta get out of here. Razor would kill you guys in a heart beat!" The she-cat stood infront of the siblings with wide eyes.
Sunpaw stood tall, "My name is Sunpaw, and I come from Tigerclan. That is my home! You two stay safe... protect each other. And don't get caught."
The siblings nodded and ran. Cloudmask was hard on her heels. Once they were far enough away,"You think we'll see them again..?"
Moonheart shrugged," I don't know..."
"Badger. Come here badger!"
Cloudmask looked at his sister, "You sure you don't want to come back....the twolegs ask about you all the time."
Moonheart shook her head, but soon looked up at the sky. There were clouds indicating it would rain,"I guess I could stay for the night."
They walked up to the front of the house. The twoleg looked down, "Oh, hello Princess I haven't seen you in awhile....you okay?" Moonheart looked up and gave a meow before the two siblings walked in
Razorheart came out from the far forest his head was low and he seemed not to notice anything around him. When he looked up he found Sunpaw and Blossomtooth starring right at him. With a growl he barred his teeth, "Why are you out here?"
Blossomtooth growled back, "We were just hunting, you jack-ass."
Razorheart jumped on her and pinned her down, "You, dare speak like that to me." He scratched her across the face.
Sunpaw growled and pushed Razorheart onto the ground, "Don't you hurt her, you bitch!" The tom knocked Razorheart off his friend and stood above Blossomtooth. "If you want to hurt her you'll have to go through me."
"Get your butts into the cave," the tabby tom looked at Sunpaw and shock his head as he melded into Birdleaf. "Just go!" Blossomtooth and Sunpaw looked at each other and ran off to the kingdom. Razorheart looked up, "Bird, if you ever return. I'm not sure if I'd kill you.... or if I'd want you back is my brother. Tears fell down his eyes before he walked off and climbed a tree.
