“Mom!Dad! Over here,” a girl with curly dirty blond hair ran to a door. “The letter said this was the door.” The mother held a younger boy by his hand, he had brunette hair and was looking around he soon ran to his older sister. “Hey Joshua...”
The boy named Joshua grabbed his sister's hand, “Sissy? Where are we...?”
The mother and father walked up but they didn't stand close, “Cali, dear. You sure this is the place?”
“Completely!” Cali said with a smile. She turned to the bar tender. “Name is Cali Vires, we come for Hogwarts...” She showed the man the letter.
“Awww yes,” The bar tender walked to a back door. “This way”
Cali picked up her three- year-old brother and ran after the bartender. Her divorced parents followed after her. The bar tender pulled out a long piece of wood and started clicking the bricks. Which opened slowly, as if the wall folded into itself. Tons of people on the other side in robes, and more of the wood sticks in their hands. Some older, some her age, and some even younger. Holding a rat, cat, or owl in their hands. Looking through store windows. Diagon Alley, was full of wizards and witches. Much like herself. Were they all muggles before? Or did some have parents who were wizards and witches themselves. She would soon find out.
“Cali, this place. Its, midevil,” Cali's father interrupted the awe of the place.
“It's beautiful...”
Joshua looked up at his sister and tugged at her gray sweatshirt sleeve, “Lets go check it out sissy!”
“We'll start getting your supplies for you. Christopher,” The woman looked to the father, “ here's a list of books go to Flourish and Blotts to buy the books.” Handing the man a list of book titles she looked to Cali. “We'll go buy the robes you need during your 1st year.”

Cali smiled, “Let' go. See ya later Dad!”
“Wait April,” her father looked at the mother, now known as April. “All these books... they won't be using our so called muggle money... shouldn't we got to that so called Gringotts, banking place.”
“Didn't think of that. Maybe we could ask the-” But the bartender had already left and the bricks were closed back up. April then turned to a lady in robes talking to another man. “Excuse me ma'am can you tell us where Gringotts Wizarding Bank is?”
The lady pointed to a large building, marble by the look of it. In gold letters at the top it said Gringotts. The four walked to the bank and walked up the marble stairs, to find small like creatures with pointy ears working in the places. They were as small at Joshua, but had heads much larger than a humans.
“I'll take whoever's next!” said a loud, cranky, rough voice on the far side. The goblin looked at the four, “Muggle money. Hmmm, you must want to change into,” the goblins spit out word like it was a disease, “wizard money.”
Cali nodded, “Yes sir.”
She was given back golden coins enough to buy what she needed that was for sure. Cali grabbed her backpack and put the coins in. The Goblin grumbled, “Go on now... Next!”
“They aren't very friendly creatures are they?” Joshua said gripping his sister's hand.
“Not by the looks of it Josh. Well, we can go buy the supplies now,” Cali split the money to the three. “Mom and I will go get the robes with Josh. Dad you can go get the books.” The family split around and they stopped by a store called Madam Malkin's Robes For All Occasions. “This must be it.”
Robes of everything were in there. Most were black, but they came in many different colors, everything so brilliant. Kids of all ages were in here too. Her mom and her started looking for plain black work robes. Which they found quickly, buying three of those they looked for a pointed witch hat. The three were laughing and smiling while Cali playfully tried on the witch hats. They found protective dragon hide gloves, and a black cloak with silver fastings for winter. Finally her mom went to go get other supplies while Cali brought her brother to Ollivander's Wand Shop. A wand, well wouldn't this be fun.
“Hello?” Cali asked as she walked into the store holding her brother's hand still.
“Why hello miss,” A man with gray messy hair came gliding on a ladder to slowly step off. “You must be a first year, well come in, come in. Don't be shy.”
Cali walked forward with a slight smile and looked at the place, “I come for a wand. Well, um yeah. Obviously. You are Mr. Ollivander right?”
“I am his son, Richardson. You are a muggle-born, I'm guessing. Hmmm,” the man slid to get a wand, “This might work. Try it out”
Josh tried to grab for the wand, “Let me see let me see!”
Cali laughed, “Hey Josh, i'll see what I can do...then maybe I can hand the wand to you” she slowly flicked the wand only to find her hair standy up straight. “Oops...”
“Sissy looks funny!”
“Shut up Josh...” she was laughing, but so was Joshua.
“No, not that one...” Richardson put the wand back and started looking for another, “could it be... try this one.”
Cali slowly grabbed the the wand placed on the counter. It was a pretty light colored wand but long. She picked it up and wished slowly for her hair to go back to normal, which it did. She pointed the wand at a small hand mirror on the table, “Accio mirror” The mirror was brought to her hand and she looked at it. Then she layed it back on the counter, “Wingardium Leviosa” Slowly the mirror was brought back to the table it had sat on, “Kewlio!”
“Willow wood, core of veela hair and is 9 ½ inches. Uncommon, but truly is earned for a gifted witch like you.”
All of them met back up her father carried books and in his hand was a pure white barn owl. It as in a cage but the bird looked right at Cali, with beautiful yellow eyes.
The time came for Cali to go off to Hogwarts, “Dear we'll see you at Christmas and New Years. Okay?” April kissed her daughter on the cheek and hugged her.
“I'll look forward to it, Dad? I'll be with you during Easter right?”
Her father nodded, “of course”
“Joshy's going to miss his sissy...” Joshua was in tears at seeing his sister have to get onto the platform. 9 ¾.
Cali hugged her brother in a huge hug, “Cali's going to miss you too. All of you. I'll have Yuki,” She looked to her owl, “send you letters and pictures of me with my friends.” She looked at the wall and ran through the veil like wall. Her parents were in the muggle world. And she was off to start her own life, as a witch of Hogwarts.
